Get your dad, friends and family for this unforgettably fun and funny comedy show in honor of Father’s Day.
The first half of the show is a Dad Joke Competition (& all funny things Dad Related), divided by Amateur and “Pros”followed by feature act Bassil Kamas and headliner Liz Grant.
Believe it or not, both Bassil and Liz are both highly acclaimed, professional massage therapists (whose clients are usually unaware they are both comedians.) First place Amateur Winner will receive a gift certificate for a Couples Massage in Bassil’s specially designed massage room inside Perceptions MedSpa in Fair Oaks. The first place “Pro” Winner will receive $50. *More details below
Headliner Liz Grant has opened for Robin Williams, Dana Carvey and George Lopez. She won the Brian Regan Impression Contest, and wrote for George Carlin’s laugh.com. She got her imaginative, creative, smart and silly comedy style from her favorite comedian, her hippie dad.
She has been a professional massage therapist for longer than she wishes to admit. Referencing her over two decades working in high end spas she jokes “I did hard time in the meat mines.”
Featuring Bassil Kamas (Punch Line, Laughs Unlimited) at current may best be known for his massage therapy at Perceptions MedSpa. Considered the local King of Dad Jokes, he’s a happily married true family man to four lucky kids. His material is clean, quick and clever.
They’re both comedians AND massage therapists!?
Bassil and Liz met when he hired her to headline at private show at Perceptions MedSpa, where the two turned their careers in massage into hilarity. Currently the two give professional couple’s massages there to a growing clientele.
Liz is currently producing a podcast where she massages comedians called Massaging Comedy.
